![]() ![]() ![]() A diagram button to the right of that allows you to pick how you want to form you party (how you want them to walk strategically) and then a last button that switches the movement action from one character to the entire group. Under the colored bars is an icon that indicates who you have set as the leader of your party. First, it acts as an easier way to select a single character in case they are all grouped together and you can’t click on him or her because another character is in the way and second, the bar is a health meter. This color coincides with a small colored bar located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Now, when I say that, I am referring to the colored circle that appears underneath them when selected independently. ![]() First, each character in my party was assigned a different color. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that PoR kept things a bit simpler. but that's of course a matter of taste. Now, I will admit, that certain 'massive' RPGs in the past have somewhat overwhelmed me with the monumental amount of controls and with the user interface. like I've said, this game is exactly how I wanted it to be. I played each one of them for several hours but my interest in them slowly faded and I've no intention in playing them again in the near future.īut on the other hand I'm really looking forward to playing some more of RoMD. ![]() In conclusion I've got to say one thing: in the last few weeks I've played Bard's Tale 4, Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. this game oozes atmosphere and I'm slowly exploring and fighting my way through a dungeon double the size of Hommlet.Īnd there was one battle ( 1 mage, 5 skeletal warriors, 2 of them in armor) I had to reload several times and I could only win this fight through tactical placement of my party members before the enemies attacked me. I got what I expected and wanted out of Ruins of Myth Drannor. 4 of these hours were speant on Ruins of Myth Drannor, 1 on the Old School Computer Game (which I can heartily recommend to anyone who has enjoyed the superb Gold Box RPGs or even newer incline like Knights of the Chalice, OSCG isn't that different). this means I've only played ~5 hours in the last 9 days. trying to read as much as I can in these last few silent and peaceful days I'll have for a long long time. Like I've said before, I'm reading like an absolute madman right now. ![]()
